What's included while you're staying with us...

The Willows can be found just on the outskirts of Westward Ho! village, halfway down a quiet, no-through road. The end of the road leads you to Northam Burrows and a 300-yard walk from the front door, across the naturally formed pebble-ridge, onto the beach, then into the sea…

You enter The Willows via a private, granite stone driveway and two large, lockable wooden gates. Once inside the gates, there is parking for two / three cars. The front of the house is surrounded by shrubs and trees. A wooden, latched gate takes you along the side of the cottage, leading to a charming, enclosed courtyard and a summer house, barbecue, table, chairs and sun umbrella. With its open plan living, dining and kitchen area upstairs, the cottage is light, airy and spacious. The two double and one bunk bedrooms are on the ground floor, along with the generous family shower/ wet room.

Your ‘welcome hamper’ will contain a range of products and you will receive a selection from such indulgences as prosecco; luxury biscuits; milk; strawberry jam; West Country butter; home-made fruit scones; West Country clotted cream. Those all-important little luxuries: freshly cut flowers; soaps and body lotion; tea and coffee (pods, cafetière coffee, instant – normal and decaf); selection of cooking oils; salt and pepper mills; luxury bed linen and towels; board games; hairdryer.

The house has BT Infinity 2 WIFI (Superfast broadband) and this runs all of the Smart TVs (there is a TV in both double bedrooms and the open plan living space, upstairs). Included on both of the bedroom TVs is Now TV (Sky Entertainment and Movies packages) and both are logged in to Amazon Prime Movies and Netflix. You can also watch iPlayer and use YouTube. More than enough for any family to watch, I’m sure! On the TV in the upstairs living space, there is live TV via Freeview, plus Netflix and iPlayer. If you or your family decide to bring along your electronic devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod, laptop etc) the broadband can handle all devices to run at the same time. A quiet life for all… and if the weather is not too desirable for outside activities and you would like to relax ‘off-line’, there is a good selection of board games and some fictional reading books to select from. Also, with the owners’ background in the art world, a comprehensive selection of art books is available for you to look at and review. We have provided dishwasher tabs, washing machine pods etc, basically all you will need to use in the kitchen and utility spaces in The Willows.

Also, you will find a comprehensive handbook regarding The Willows and the local area – all the research has been done for you and this information is at your fingertips, to make your stay one remember.
